Table Branding Manager · Import-only edition
Bring existing documents back in line with the brand
When a table style changes, existing documents keep the old formatting (except for Word documents under certain conditions). The Import-only edition lets employees update those files with the approved brand style without exposing the design tool.
Watch it in action
Bringing a document back on brand
Watch an existing document get the approved table style applied in seconds — no redesign, no design access needed.
Approved styles, applied by individual users
The Import-only edition is built for organizations that need to roll out a new or updated brand style across many existing documents without opening up design access to every user.
The design team updates the templates that are used to create new documents. Employees import those same styles in existing documents.

Control who can change the brand
With the Import-only edition, employees can apply the approved style and set it as the default, without being able to add, duplicate, rename or edit table styles themselves. This keeps the design consistent and reduces the risk of accidental brand drift during rollout.

Especially valuable for Excel
For Word and PowerPoint, much of the work can be done once: your design team adds the approved table style to the corporate templates, and every new document or presentation created from them already carries the style. From that point on, the Import-only edition mainly covers two things: updating already-existing files, and rolling out a later style change.
Excel is different. Few organizations have a comparable default template for new spreadsheets, and setting one up reliably is harder than it looks — it depends on details of each user's Office installation that are outside your control. In practice, that means new Excel files rarely get the branded style automatically. The Import-only edition is how you close that gap, both for spreadsheets that already exist and for every new one from here on.
New files get the style automatically, via your templates. Older files and style updates still go through the Import-only edition
Needs the Import-only edition, file by file
Who is the Import-only edition for?
Organizations that want to roll out a brand update quickly without giving every user design access. It is especially useful when a style package already exists and needs to be applied consistently to many files that are already in use.
Centralized brand control
One approved style package can be shared across the organization and applied consistently.
Lower rollout risk
Teams can update older documents without creating inconsistent styling or accidental design changes.
